Foundation by Dr. Bernd Schubert and Dr. Andreas Scharf as spin-off of the Institute for Marketing and Commerce at the University of Göttingen

1998

Opening of first isi test studio in Göttingen

2000

Move to offices 'am Ascherberg' in Rosdorf

2001

Dr. Hans-Peter Volkmer becomes sole CEO

2002

Opening of current company headquarters with modern rooms, focus group facilities, and sensory lab with top equipment

2004/05

Foundation of subsidiaries talVaro (software) and myonlinepanel

2006

Team size: 16 employees, opening of second isi sensory lab in Cologne

2008

Robert Möslein and Joachim Haag are appointed to the management board, opening of third isi sensory lab in Munich, expansion of company headquarters in Göttingen, and opening of fourth isi sensory lab

2009

Opening of fifth isi sensory lab in Hamburg

2010

Team size: 25 employees, more than 100 consumer tests per year, isi operates 10 descriptive panels
